Rice SIMS Worksop
Michael Shaw and Francis Godfrey both attended the 2023 Rice SIMS Workshop hosted at Rice University and presented posters on their research projects. Congratulations to Francis Godfrey who was awarded with a student travel award for $500 for his poster titled "A simple software solution for a 3D micron-precision stage".
ASMS 2023
Dr. Eller and Michael Shaw traveled to ASMS to present recent research. Michael Shaw's poster was well attended! Great job Michael!
2023 Chemistry Open House
2022 Hiroshi Ito Award
Congratulations to Jander Cruz who has been awarded the 2022 Hiroshi Ito Memorial Award for the Best Student Paper at the recent SPIE Advanced Lithography + Patterning conference held recently in San Jose, California for his paper titled "Evaluating nanoscale molecular homogeneity in extreme ultraviolet resists with nanoprojectile secondary ion mass spectrometry". The award consists of a certificate and a cash honorarium ($1,000). The award is in honor of Hiroshi Ito who is a co-inventor of chemically amplified resists, which is the dominate technology used in semiconductor manufacturing. Jander's paper can be found here.
